The Agenda

There is no better place to launch your startup than the TechCrunch50 Conference in San Francisco.
Last year we were the TechCrunch20 conference that ultimately became TechCrunch40. This year we’re taking it up a notch and going to 50, over an expanded three-day format.
Our numbers may fluctuate year to year, but our agenda is laser focused. We’ll put on stage the 50 best companies we can find to launch new products over three days, September 8-10, 2008. The selection process is based on merit alone to help ensure we showcase the best ideas regardless of financial means. With an additional day and ten more presentation spots this year, we want to showcase an even broader array of technology startups - more enterprise, more mobile, more new stuff that will change the world.
In addition to 50 great new products, we’re assembling an amazing lineup of speakers and a panel of expert advisors to spark lively discussion and debate during the conference. There will be an action-packed DemoPit full of other early-stage start-up ideas, as well as working breakfasts and lunches with topics aimed at helping start-ups succeed. In typical TechCrunch style, we’ll save room for socializing too.
The specific agenda will unfold over the coming weeks and months on the conference blog. Stay tuned for more.
